Mould Remediation

Services by Mayken Haz-Mat Solutions a division of Mayken Solutions

Mould/mold, either way you spell it, it’s still bad for your health.

Mayken Solutions can remove and remediate mould from your space to make it safe from adverse health effects to you and your family.

Team Mayken, will evaluate, test (if required) and supply a written estimate to remove, rectify the cause and remediate the effected area(s). Also, supply a written estimate to rebuild your space to better than before.

We will construct a barrier, apply negative air ventilation to the effected room(s) to remove the airborne mould spores to the exterior. Then, our technicians will enter with full personal protective equipment and begin the removal of effected area(s) to determine the cause of the moisture infiltration, and remediate the area(s). At that point, our team will repair and seal the leaking area to ensure moisture cannot re-enter to promote future mould growth.

We utilize an independent 3rd party for all our “Air Quality Testing” to ensure proper results.

Rebuild & Restore

After the remediation process has been completed, all final air testing and release of the contaminated area, the rebuilding can now begin.

Our rebuild crew can put everything back to the way it was, or construct it better than before, it’s your choice. We will work with you to bring back as
before, or come up with a new plan and re-design to best fit your needs.

Our construction crews are highly experienced in complete rebuilds and total renovations. From start to finish, a total turn key experience.

Mould as described by Albert Health Services

“ Moulds are normally found everywhere in indoor and outdoor air; they are natural part of our environment. Everyday we are exposed to these moulds by breathing. Mould health effects research has shown there is a strong association between airborne mould exposure and certain health effects such as irritation of eye, nose, throat and skin including cough and exacerbation of asthma. At least 5% or more of the population may be allergic to moulds. Other commonly reported symptoms include headache, nausea, fatigue and mental confusion. The risk of cancer and damage to the liver, kidneys, immune and nervous systems with mould inhalation exposure are not established and are more speculative. Respiratory infection is not generally a concern unless exposures are extraordinarily high or individuals are immune compromised. Nevertheless, the universal recommendation is to minimize exposure and health risk by eliminating mould reservoirs in indoor environments. Readers should also understand that in water damaged buildings, biological factors other than moulds are a health concern. Those factors can include dust mites and bacteria.”
